Ok SO we are doing things a little backwards....

Let's face it this whole blog and process is kinda backwards I mean I haven't even gotten the ring yet and here I am dreaming and planning away right?!

So continuing the trend the MF and I are house hunting!

We have talked about buying a place once we were engaged for a while now but more recently we have decided to actually start looking for several reasons. Since he has made it somewhat clear in a very secretive way (if that even makes sense) that a proposal is right around the corner and we know it may take us a while to find a house we love we felt it was time to start looking.

We have been online for hours searching for houses in this one specific area we have agreed on settling down at and last night we met with a real estate agent to view 2 houses. Both looked amazing in pictures, were in our price range and were in our desired area however upon our in person visit were somewhat disappointing.

The first was priced really well had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and described as open concept which is a must on our list. When we arrived the home owners and 6 others (I'm guessing family members) greeted us at the door, the lady of the house proceeded to show us around saying "isn't this nice" every 2 minutes. No! It wasn't nice, not at all!! In fact it was horrible I knew from the minute I stepped 2 feet in the door. Pictures can be SO deceiving!

The second house was a lot better and more of the style we were looking for however I couldn't get over how small the kitchen was and didn't see putting another $15000 in renos being worth it. I also think that the fact that we have only begun our search is holding me back from wanting to settle.

So the search continues for our perfect home even though there is a part of me that's hoping the proposal comes first....tick tock tick tock :P

Winter Trash The Dress Ideas

Chances are by the time I get married and arrive back home it will be a winter wonderland here SO I thought of a winter wonderland trash the dress idea. It would involve snow angels, snow ball fights, hot cocoa and maybe even a sleigh ride ;)

In the meantime here are some beautiful and fun inspiration pics.

Ga Ga for Bridal Shoes!

I will be the first to say IF I wore any of these beauties at my wedding they would come off as soon as I got the chance but fashion can be painful I guess so in my pre-pre planning dream world these would be some of my ideal wedding shoes :)

Halloween Wedding Theme

Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween yesterday.
After hearing about a friend attending a wedding this weekend I thought what a cool idea it would be to have a Halloween wedding... although I don't quite think my fam and friends would go for this idea I still love the idea.

The possibilities are endless take a look.

Think about it, everyone dressed in costume, dancing to MJ's Thriller drinking bats blood and eating witches eyeballs lol... ridiculously fun!
